That year was fantastic. I was 10 1/2 later on turned 11 in 2013. I saw Super Bowl 43, it was my 3rd season watching Nascar, I got to see one of the greatest NBA playoffs/finals ever in late spring into early summer, i had a great 4th of July, I turned 11 on August 31st, lots of fun family memories, I had a great Thanksgiving and a great Christmas. No doubt 2013 was one of the best years of my life. Originally, I thought it was *the* best year for me until 2016. But i still cherish 2013 to this day

Man I forgot how good the Nathan Drake Collection looks. like FF VII Remake doesn't have textures look this good in some of its parts. Sure the characters don't look as photoreal as Uncharted 4 but I like it like that. Bluepoint did a great job. Now Uncharted doesn't need a lot of work for a remake I actually think it just needs to have its sections just shortened and better enemy AI and slightly changed level design. I am working on writing a script for an Uncharted movie or show reboot and hopefully Sony abandons that Tom Holland Universe. Oh and my pitch will be Animation if they wont leave Tom Holland so mine can exist.

I miss these games so much along with this era of gaming. It feels like a lot of primarily single player games had online multiplayer components. The modes were never super complex or ultra competitive. They were simple, fun, and enjoyable in both quick and long gaming sessions. I was always a huge Resistance fan, so when they released the chimera cosmetic in uncharted 2 I was so excited. Thanks for the video!

The multiplayer mode was a huge blindspot for me I never even considered playing U3’s multiplayer and i didnt even know U2 had a multiplayer 😅 i missed out. Either i was too young or they didnt do that much to promote it

Highly disagree with your take on hiding Joel’s death in the trailers. Why on earth would you spoil your own story before it’s even out? The entire plot revolves around his death, spoiling it would ruin the biggest story beat in the game. And if the game was actually about avenging Dina’s death that would have been so boring.

as someone who works 9h/day, everyday is a repetitive mission from an even more repetitive storyline, i found this video because i was searching for suggestions of non-linear games... I bought GTA V but i only played the first mission, because online mode gives me what i want, a huge map full of content 🤷 and i wish i had an offline version of that, so I'm taking suggestions

Uncharted is not a interactive movie game its interactive lite. Interactive movie games are Until dawn, Detroit become human and heavy rain those are interactive movie games.

I miss uncharted 3 multiplayer man :( My custom villain looked so cool and i always wanted to play the bad guys, ps3 was also my first jump into online gaming as a kid, little 13 year old me knew on "multiplayer" but never knew what it meant and little me definitely couldn't comprehend that it was with other people around the world, i love uncharted 3 and with uncarted 4's multiplayer was just as cool but to me IMO UC4 just feels stale in comparison. I will always respect UC3 for sparking my love of online multiplayer gaming and it will forever hold a space in my heart.

I feel so nostalgic watching your videos and I was wondering if now that we are all a bit older, you will experience the same effect of nostalgia when playing PS5 games. I think both stories have good and bad elements. Thet could easily bring the good stuff from both sides and the game would have been even better. I suspect Sully and Elena were meant to have larger roles originally, it is a shame they ended up in the side lines for a good part of the story. I suspect Hennig was even planning to bring Chloe to the adventure and possibly even Charlie Cutter. I say that because we would switch to multiple characters during the Auction chapters. I think multiple would imply more than three. I wish they would have kept that, it would be different, but an interesting new mechanic to Uncharted. I don't think it would be a good idea having Nate use no guns for half of the game though, Uncharted is a franchise where gun fight is one of its main elements, it wouldn't fit the franchise at all. I am surprised Hennig would go with this idea. As for Sam being one of the villains, the other one being Rafe, I am torn. It would have been a hell of a plot twist when it was revealed he was Nate's brother. However, I must say I like what we got, even if the plot twist was not as great as the original. I liked the ending we got. Now, Druckmann adding Nadine to the story was really weird. I am not against the character, but the fact she won fights against Nate and even one against Nate and Sam was ridiculous. Nate and Sam are not boy scouts, they can fight, they had fought worse enemies. She could be there, leading the mercenaries, being Rafe's partner, but the fist fights with her where meh and unrealistic.

I'm in my early twenties now but when I first played black ops as a ten or eleven year old, I saw Hudson the interrogator walk away when you select the Zombies mode. And when he came back, he was a zombie. I had nightmares of being in the interrogation chair all secured and unable to move as Zombie Hudson slowly approaches me. Then the dream would end. I love this game and it is NOT outdated!

Fantastic skill issue at 1:47 aside, the real thing that matters here is game design. Ive seen both terrible and magnificent open world and linear games. It should be designed in such a way that theres a reason for the linearity or a reason for the open world to exist, to serve good gameplay which makes narrative sense.

4 and 3 with those cosmetics just ruined the aesthetics for me.

Uncharted two, was for me the peak of gaming, and death match online. Three was not that good. Its actually strange to me how there is nothing like it on the xbox. Cant even find a decent death match in 3rd person view.
